Solid Waste

The city operates two forms of solid waste programs – garbage and recycling.

Garbage cans must be no larger than 30 gallons, and the can with its contents should weigh no more than 40 pounds. Garbage cans must have two handles and a tight-fitting lid.

Garbage cans and other waste materials should be in the alley or at the curb by 7 a.m. the morning of your pickup, and all cans and other containers should be brought back onto the property that same day.
