An annual event proven to be an effective and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for safer neighborhoods. Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, citizens participate in variety of events and activities such as block parties, cookouts, and visits from police officers and firefighters.
On October 2009, the City held the 1st Annual National Night Out Event at City Hall. Residents and their families visited the City facilities and participated in many fun activities. Staff was on-hand to answer any questions and demonstrated some of the equipment utilized by Public Safety personnel.
We invite you to attend the 12th Annual National Night Out at City Hall. It is scheduled for Tuesday, October 3, 2023. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. There will be free hot dogs, bottled water, chips, and sodas.
The Cambridge Elementary Choir will be performing at 6:00 p.m. Daisy Bees and Friends will be providing face paintings and showing their balloon artist skills.
