National Night Out

An annual event proven to be an effective and enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for safer neighborhoods. Along with the traditional display of outdoor lights and front porch vigils, citizens participate in variety of events and activities such as block parties, cookouts, and visits from police officers and firefighters.

On October 2009 the City held the 1st Annual National Night Out Event at City Hall. Residents and their families visited the City facilities and participated in many fun activities. Staff was on-hand to answer any questions and demonstrated some of the equipment utilized by Public Safety personnel.

We would like to thank everyone for coming out to this year’s NNO event! You all helped make it a great event once again. This year we were able to have it City Hall Facilities as in the past – it was good to be back home. Visit our Facebook page to see pictures and video of the event.
