Important information for small business owners in Bexar County:
Bexar County recently approved a second round of funding aiming helping micro and small businesses to recover, create and maintain jobs and to ensure they have enough working capital during this period of crisis. The Micro and Small Business Grant Program is a new County-wide fund to provide emergency relief to small businesses struggling under the financial impact of COVID-19. The Emergency Fund is designed to help small and micro businesses within Bexar County, Texas. Registration opened today and applications will be taken through June 19, 2020. If you are a small business owner in Alamo Heights with less than 25 employees, register to sign up for a week supply of free Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). You must register through Bexar County’s Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department’s website, click here. When registered, bags may be picked up at Alamo Heights City Hall by contacting Assistant to City Manager Jennifer Reyna at 210-832-2209.
