The Grand Opening and Dedication for Kellyanne Park, the City of Alamo Heights’ pool pocket park, is set for July 11th at 11am. Located in a portion of the parking lot between the Alamo Heights Pool and the Little Leage fields, the almost half-acre park will include a pavilion, play area & features & public restrooms outside the existing Alamo Heights Pool area. The concessionaire at the Heights Pool Grille will be able to serve walk-up customers via the new Pocket Park.
Kellyanne Park is named after Kellyanne Lytal, a young Alamo Heights resident who tragically lost her life in 2025’s historic flooding near Kerrville. The park also honors two young grandchildren of local Alamo Heights families whose lives were lost during the same event, Lila Bonner and Sarah Marsh. The park will serve as both a place of joy and remembrance of the young lives that were lost too soon.
Kellyanne Park is designed by architecture firm Ford, Powell & Carson and landscape architecture firm Coral Studios. Malitz Construction has constructed the project.
