National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – Sat., Oct. 26

  10/08/2024 - On Saturday, October 26th, the Police Department will be accepting expired, unused and unwanted prescriptions or over the counter drugs, no questions asked. Stop by Alamo Heights City Hall, east entrance, during the hours of 10AM - 2PM.


Community Improvement Projects Wanted

  10/04/2024 - The City of Alamo Heights is accepting applications for the 2025 Community Improvement Grant.


Amended 2023.2024 Water Quality Report

  09/10/2024 - The 2023.2024 Water Quality Report was amended to include a TCEQ violation. Additional information is available.

New Drought Surcharge Fee – Effective February 1, 2024

On December 11, 2023, Alamo Heights City Council passed Ordinance No. 2217 amending Chapter 19 – Water and Sewers, Article III Conservation of Groundwater to adopt a Drought Surcharge Fee. Customers with higher water use during drought stages may be subject to the new fee. This fee will be effective February 1, 2024. Click here for additional information.

New Ordinances - Stage Water Restrictions and Water/Sewer Rates

The City Council of the City of Alamo Heights, during its September 11, 2023 meeting, enacted the following ordinances. Click here to view Ordinance # 2213 regarding the increase of water and sewer rates for five years, effective October 1, 2023.
