Emergency Services Youth Academy

The Alamo Heights Emergency Services Youth Academy is one of the few programs of its kind in the United States. This program will assist the students in developing a stronger rapport with the Police, Fire and Medical service providers, as well as, a greater understanding of the mutual challenges that face today's youth and Emergency Services.

During the ten (10) week program, students will have many hands-on activities along with some lecture. Students will also have an opportunity to ride with patrol officers as they perform their duties.

Who is eligible?

• Students currently enrolled in 9th through 12th grade within any public or private school in Alamo Heights.
• Be in compliance with No Pass/No Play by maintaining a passing grade in all classes.
