The Alamo Heights Police Department has launched a new community-wide crime prevention initiative through a program called Suspicious Activity Information Neighborhood Team (S.A.I.N.T.). The program provides an easy means of gathering information to report suspicious activities and is based on the idea that no one knows their neighborhoods better than the residents who live there.
The S.A.I.N.T. Program provides an easy tool for residents to report an unfamiliar person in the neighbor’s yard, a strange vehicle parked nearby or circling the block or just an unfamiliar person in the area. The Alamo Heights Police Department’s first priority is public safety and wants to be informed about all suspicious activities within the City.
The S.A.I.N.T notebooks are available at City Hall, Alamo Heights Police Department and participating retail establishments. Or you can call the police/fire communications center at 210-822-3321 and request that a police officer bring a S.A.I.N.T. notebook and information brochure to your home or office.
